- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
- Build the marketing department, processes, and campaigns from scratch
- Create and strengthen brand awareness across digital and offline channels
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads and increase customer engagement
- Lead brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling initiatives
- Plan and manage digital marketing activities, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising
- Oversee content creation, PR, partnerships, and corporate communications
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
- Track marketing performance, analyze KPIs, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI
- Collaborate closely with sales and leadership teams to support business growth
Requirements
- 7 10+ years of proven marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in building marketing functions and strategies from scratch
- Strong expertise in brand development, strategic marketing, and demand generation
- Experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, content strategy, and campaign management
- Experience in sustainability, recycling, circular economy, or related industry highly preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

About the Role
- Our client, a growing company specializing in recycling, sustainability, and second hand products, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to establish and lead the entire marketing function from the ground up.
- This is a strategic leadership role for a highly proactive marketing professional who can build a strong brand, develop marketing strategies, drive customer acquisition, and position the company as a leader in the sustainability sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Build the marketing department, processes, and campaigns from scratch.

Requirements
- 7–10+ years of proven marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in building marketing functions and strategies from scratch.
- Strong expertise in brand development, strategic marketing, and demand generation.
- Experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, content strategy, and campaign management.
- Experience in the sustainability, recycling, circular economy, environmental services, or second hand products industry will be highly preferred.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly proactive, self driven, and results oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with excellent spoken and written English.
- Experience working with European markets is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
