Objective/Purpose of the Job

  • Leads the development and deployment of category strategies that drive business growth, in market excellence, and competitive advantage.
  • Manages the designated category's performance across channels, identifying key growth opportunities and ensuring flawless execution of sales business plans.
  • Builds data driven strategies, manages forecasting and budget planning, and ensures alignment across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtains the needed knowledge regarding the category strategies and key business driver.
  • Obtains full understanding of the category performance by channel and spots key opportunities.
  • Ensures the deployment of category strategies (dpsm) by cbd teams.
  • Analyses and has clear picture of competitive information and activities.
  • Leads the internal deployment of the plans to maintain category competitive edge.
  • Searches and re applies proven success models.
  • Contributes to business and budget planning for the category.
  • Serves as an internal category expert.
  • Serves as a contact person for the Principals MS&P.
  • Works proactively with Principals and Brand Management Teams on developing aggressive sales business plans.
  • Manages day to day relationships with MS&P of the Principals to ensure flawless execution of initiatives Master Plan.
  • Develops the internal initiatives execution plan by channel in alignment with the CBD Team Leaders.

Job Requirements

  • BS Degree; preferences for those with degree in Business Mgt., Marketing, Bus., Admin. from leading universities.
  • Minimum 3 years of CBD experience; competitive knowledge of trading area & local market trends; ability to use best practiced business tools & standards; highly proficient in MS Office Tools.
