Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop markers (cutting layouts) based on approved patterns and fabric widths
- Arrange pattern pieces to achieve maximum fabric efficiency and minimize material wastage
- Calculate fabric consumption and ensure accurate marker planning
- Coordinate with Pattern Makers, Cutting Supervisors, and Production Teams to meet production schedules
- Verify pattern measurements, grading, and marker accuracy before cutting
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and production specifications
- Maintain records of marker plans and fabric utilization
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marker Maker / Pattern Marker
- Proven experience in military textile manufacturing, military uniforms, tactical wear, or related garment industries
- Strong knowledge of pattern making, marker planning, grading, and fabric consumption calculations
- Familiarity with garment production processes and cutting room operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and garment measurements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
