Key Responsibilities
- Oversee ship management for assigned vessels, including safety, financial, marine, technical, procurement, crewing, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary fleet management cell (IOT) to optimize performance and maximize fleet utilization within budget targets.
- Manage vessel activities such as planned maintenance, dry docking, mobilization/demobilization, modifications, and warm stack/cold stack.
- Establish and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and support business objectives.
- Monitor IOT performance and maintain high operational standards.
- Develop and uphold competency standards for IOT members.
- Support in defining the recruitment requirements and training of IOT personnel.
- Ensure IOT compliance with organizational regulations such as HSE, risk management, ESG, procurement, crewing, finance, or any other company regulation or policy.
- Oversee HSE management protocols within the IOT.
- Work with the Marine Manager to ensure skilled personnel are deployed to operate company assets proficiently.
- Oversee budget management to ensure financial control and accountability.
- Ensure the adoption and utilization of the AMOS system across capable vessels.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Five years’ experience in the maritime, or similar industry, in a fleet management position.
- Unlimited Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (COC).
- Dynamic Positioning Certificate by Nautical Institute.
- Solid experience handling Offshore Support Vessels (AHTS, DSV, Supply Vessels).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine, or other related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
