High-Caliber Manufacturing Operations Manager

🏭 Manufacturing & Production Leadership

• Lead and oversee end-to-end jewelry manufacturing operations, including casting, setting, polishing, and finishing
• Drive production planning and scheduling in alignment with business demand and retail timelines
• Monitor output, efficiency, and quality benchmarks, ensuring optimal utilization of resources
• Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution

Inventory Control & Loss Prevention (Critical)

• Establish and enforce strict controls over gold, diamonds, and high-value materials
• Monitor and reconcile daily material movement (inward, WIP, outward)
• Track gold loss percentages and implement corrective actions
• Design and implement robust systems to prevent leakage, pilferage, and misreporting
• Introduce checks & balances, dual controls, and accountability frameworks across production

Process Excellence & Operational Governance

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs across all stages of manufacturing
• Drive process standardization, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for real-time operational visibility
• Ensure all operations are audit-ready with accurate documentation and traceability

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to UAE regulatory standards and industry best practices in gold and diamond handling
• Maintain accurate records for inventory, procurement, production, and dispatch
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance and transparency
• Work closely with finance and leadership on stock audits and reconciliations

Team Leadership & Shopfloor Management

• Manage and lead a team of karigars, supervisors, and production staff
• Instill a culture of discipline, accountability, and precision on the shop floor
• Drive performance management, workforce planning, and productivity improvements
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational protocols

Experience

• 7–12 years of experience in gold / diamond / jewelry manufacturing operations
• Proven track record in managing high-value inventory and production environments
• Mandatory UAE experience within jewelry or precious metals industry

Core Competencies

• Strong expertise in production workflows, material reconciliation, and inventory control
• Demonstrated experience in loss prevention, leakage control, and process governance
• Deep understanding of manufacturing KPIs, audits, and compliance frameworks
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution
