Overview

  • Element HR Consulting is hiring for a client in the Energy, Offshore, Marine, and Industrial Solutions sector.
  • Seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Senior Sales Coordinator to support sales and business development.
  • Ideal candidate will possess a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong commercial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and experience with technical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales activities and provide administrative support to sales and business development teams.
  • Prepare and manage technical and commercial quotations, proposals, tenders, and bid documentation.
  • Review customer inquiries, RFQs, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and customers for pricing, lead times, and technical information.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities, quotations, contracts, and customer communications.
  • Track order status from quotation through delivery and ensure timely customer updates.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasting reports, pipeline analysis, and performance dashboards using Excel.
  • Support sales team in contract administration, documentation, and project coordination.
  • Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with internal departments for order fulfillment.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities within energy, offshore, marine, and industrial sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Coordination, Technical Sales Support, Inside Sales, or Commercial Coordination.
  • Experience with mechanical engineering products, industrial equipment, lifting solutions, wire ropes, rigging, cranes, offshore equipment, pumps, valves, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, datasheets, and commercial documentation.
  • Experience supporting customers within Oil & Gas, Energy, Offshore, Marine, EPC, Industrial, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and customer focused environment.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Data Analysis, Sales Reporting, Forecasting, Dashboard Creation, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Wire Ropes, Lifting Equipment, Rigging Gear, Offshore Equipment, Mooring Systems, Cranes, Material Handling Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Mechanical Components, Oil & Gas Equipment highly preferred.
