Summary
Maintain manufacturing IT systems deployed across Allison Transmission plants.
Work with the Manufacturing Architecture Team, plant operations, and service providers to keep systems operating as designed and implement enhancements.
The position may suit a recent technology graduate or someone building existing experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement application enhancements and performance improvements.
- Perform health checks on manufacturing systems.
- Support Manufacturing Execution System production monitoring and control.
- Support MES Visual Plant Management and plant-floor data visualization.
- Maintain barcode printing solutions, including printer setup and configuration.
- Respond to outages and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Coordinate server, storage, network, database, and deskside service providers.
- Keep abreast of new manufacturing-systems technology.
Education and Experience
- A minimum two-year associate degree in a technical field is required.
- A four-year degree in a specified technical discipline receives additional consideration.
