Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team and project stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the software application.
• Test Case Design: Create detailed, clear, and effective test cases based on project requirements and design specifications.
• Test Execution: Execute manual test cases to identify defects, ensuring the software meets quality standards and functional requirements.
• Defect Reporting: Document and report defects with clear and concise information, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
• Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and that new changes do not introduce new defects.
• Test Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to communicate testing progress, issues, and results.
• Quality Advocacy: Advocate for quality assurance best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process.
• Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by formal test cases.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensure adherence to testing standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in manual testing of software applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex test cases.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools and test management tools.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with agile development processes is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

• Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
• Ability to commute/relocate:
• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
