Responsibilities
- Profile datasets across multiple systems to identify and quantify data quality issues such as duplicates, missing values, gaps, and inconsistencies
- Analyze root causes of data quality problems and propose remediation approaches
- Provide clear data quality assessments and reports
- Design and implement de duplication, standardisation, validation, and enrichment rules
- Define and document what constitutes a 'clean record' for each data domain
- Establish and maintain data quality standards and control mechanisms
- Define 'Golden Record' criteria for each data domain
- Support master data management (MDM) processes including matching, merging, and survivorship rules
- Ensure consistency of master data across systems and business units
- Build and maintain data quality dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs
- Monitor ongoing data quality performance and highlight trends and risks
- Guide and support client data stewards in executing data cleansing activities
Requirements
- Background in Data Quality, Data Analysis, Data Governance, or similar roles
- Strong hands on experience with data profiling, cleansing, or deduplication initiatives
- Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze large datasets
- Practical experience in data profiling and data validation techniques
- Familiarity with data quality tools, MDM platforms, or data integration systems
- Ability to design data quality rules and monitoring frameworks
- Highly detail oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Arabic is highly beneficial for validating and working with Arabic language records and datasets

Position Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Lead to own and drive the organization’s data cleaning methodology and data quality measurement framework.
- The role is responsible for profiling data, identifying quality issues, defining cleansing and validation rules, and ensuring the integrity of master and operational data across all business domains.
- This role also provides hands on guidance to data stewards and ensures consistent execution of data quality standards across the organization.

Candidate Profile

- Experience working with MDM tools or large scale data environments is highly desirable.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
- Practical experience in data profiling and data validation techniques.
- Familiarity with data quality tools, MDM platforms, or data integration systems.
- Ability to design data quality rules and monitoring frameworks.
- Highly detail oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Ability to define structured and scalable data quality processes.
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to guide and review work performed by data stewards.
- Fluent in English.
