About the Job

  • Review tender documents, scope of works, check feasibility for qualification, financial criteria, prepare presentations, risk matrix and seek approval for bidding.
  • Provide contractual and administration support to the pre contract team and section head.
  • Prepare technical & commercial bids as per tender requirements and rate analysis with risk factor pricing.
  • Liaise with different departments to answer tender queries and close pricing terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with Estimation team/Cost consultants to obtain cost efficient bids and ensure budget compliance.
  • Develop standard documentation/forms and internal policies and procedures related to tendering.
  • Maintain log of all live tender packages for review by section head before release.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on tenders/bids to senior management.
  • Participate in final negotiations, liaise with legal & risk department on contract deviations.
  • Lead contract document compilation by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • CIPS, PMP certification – preferred.
  • Minimum 4 6 years’ experience in preparing Cost estimates (preferable for Middle East).
  • Ability to write technical documents such as RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • FIDIC knowledge on Tendering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Project management and relevant tendering software.
  • Manage costs effectively, including estimating project costs/budgets and analyzing vendor quotes.
  • Thorough understanding of Construction technology.
  • Demonstrated skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders/vendors.
  • Effective team management and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficient negotiation abilities.
