Role Overview
KPMG’s Technology Risk Services team provides IT audit, assurance, and advisory services related to technology-enabled processes, services, and solutions.
The Manager will guide IT assurance services for clients in Financial Services, Technology and Telecom, and Energy and Mining.
The role includes engagement management, training, and guidance for junior staff.
What You Will Do
- Conduct IT risk assessments, ITGC and ITAC procedures, system implementation reviews, and data conversion audits.
- Conduct IT internal audit and third-party attestation engagements, including CSAE 3416, SSAE 18, SOC 1, and SOC 2 reports.
- Plan and manage audit tasks, coordinate with client and KPMG teams, and evaluate IT processes, controls, policies, and strategies.
- Prepare reports and analyses, communicate findings and recommendations, and review the quality of other team members’ work.
- Guide field engagement teams and coach junior staff.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, training, HR initiatives, and practice management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or Computer Science is required; an accounting major is ideal.
- Completion of one or a combination of CPA, CA, CISA, or CISSP designations.
- At least 5 years of relevant IT audit experience within a large consulting practice.
- Experience with IT integrated audits, controls-based audits, SAP or Oracle transformation projects, and varied IT environments.
- External audit experience with clients in Financial Services, Technology and Telecom, or Mining is required.

- Strong understanding of business risks, audit risks, IT controls, and technology risk.
- Excellent written, verbal, and client communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organization, investigation, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work with little supervision, succeed in a fast-paced environment, and coach junior staff.
Workplace

Compensation
- The expected base salary range is $88,000 to $132,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards.
- Base salary depends on location, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
