Role Overview

KPMG is seeking a Senior Consultant to support transformation initiatives for Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Workers’ Compensation organizations.

The role helps Insurance clients address strategic and operational challenges across Digital, Distribution, Underwriting, Claims, and Policy Administration.

What You Will Do

  • Own key analyses, work products, and deliverables for client engagements.
  • Support strategic and operational transformation across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
  • Conduct current-state assessments, process mapping, data analysis, and future-state design.
  • Evaluate process simplification, operating models, technology, data, decision-making, and customer experience.
  • Prepare client-ready presentations, models, and reports.
  • Coordinate workstreams, dependencies, and milestones with Managers and Senior Managers.
  • Build client and internal relationships to identify, assess, and solve problems.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, practice initiatives, and Insurance thought leadership.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of consulting or Financial Services industry experience.
  • Experience supporting strategic or operational change, process improvement, customer experience, business transformation, or target operating model design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across stakeholder groups.
  • Undergraduate degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance experience, including Property & Casualty, Life & Health, or Workers’ Compensation, is preferred.
  • Experience with core insurance technology platforms is an asset.
  • MBA, PMP, CIP, CRM, or another relevant designation is an asset.
  • Exposure to policy or claims administration implementations and AI-enabled operations is valued.

Compensation

  • The expected base salary range is CAD 95,000 to CAD 107,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards.
  • Base salary is determined by location, skills, competencies, and qualifications.
