Opportunity

KPMG is hiring a Senior Manager of Data Analysis and Audit Productivity for its Audit Center, Audit Technology and Transformation team.

The role supports audit quality, productivity, automation, analytics, dashboards, and technology-enabled process improvement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Use Databricks to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and automate data processing.
  • Develop Power Automate and Power Apps workflow automation solutions.
  • Build dashboards for audit project management, national progress monitoring, budgets, and milestones.
  • Support KCw Data Mining and other automated solutions used by audit and national-office teams.

Leadership and Delivery

  • Coach, supervise, and review junior team members, including coordinators, analysts, data engineers, developers, and data scientists.
  • Lead solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational support.
  • Identify audit process improvements using automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and prepare stakeholder presentations and quarterly data reporting.

Technical Qualifications

  • At least seven years of technical experience and a relevant post-secondary degree are required.
  • Intermediate proficiency is required in Excel with Power Query and VBA, Power Platform, databases, and Python or similar scripting languages.
  • QA testing experience must include test plans, test cases, and test-cycle execution.
  • Exposure to AI tools, enterprise integrations, APIs, SharePoint Online, or ServiceNow is considered relevant.

Professional Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience is sought in translating business needs into technical work and coordinating delivery through sustainment.
  • Experience collaborating across functions and coaching, supervising, and reviewing junior employees is required.
  • Written and oral fluency in English is required.
  • Relevant Microsoft, Azure, Power Platform, or AI certifications are an asset.

Compensation

  • The Ontario region base salary range is CAD 112,500 to CAD 162,500 and may include bonus awards.
  • The posting also lists a British Columbia region salary range of CAD 110,500 to CAD 165,500 and potential bonus awards.
