- Drive the definition, design and operationalization of data products that maximize leverage for the business
- Own and prioritize the long term roadmap for your product, working with a cross functional stakeholder group
- Define OKRs for your Data Product with a metrics driven strategy to maximize value
- Immerse yourself in understanding your customer(s) by employing empathy and design thinking
- Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for your product and its role in Capital One’s ecosystem
- Partner closely with technology and data experts to design robust solutions
- Inspire the team to deeply understand technical opportunities to increase speed of delivery
- Develop a robust integration strategy that demonstrates customer based thinking
- Mentor and contribute to the data talent community at Capital One
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience creating and delivering customer centric, data driven product vision and strategy
- A track record of delivering results with significant business and customer impacts
- Data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Python, R) along with a high level understanding of technical patterns used to process, present, and consume data at scale
- Framework driven approach to problem solving with ability to simplify technical complexity
- Exceptional cross team collaboration; able to work across different functions
- Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep seated empathy for teams and partners

About The Role
- Product Managers are tech savvy pioneers, with one eye on what’s new and the other on what’s next.
- This is a senior Product Management position that does not have direct reports.
Your Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of Product Management experience.
- Experience creating and delivering customer centric, data driven product vision and strategy.
- A track record of delivering results with significant business and customer impacts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
- Experience in financial services, technology or operations.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, a hunger to learn and a seeker of new challenges.
- Can communicate complex ideas clearly regardless of your audience.
- Biased toward action, able to get around roadblocks and stay focused on goals.
- Care about growing others and bringing them together around what’s possible.
- Appetite to learn new things or new technologies.
- Enjoy working with diverse people and driving the team toward a common goal.
Compensation
- The expected annual salary range for this position is CAD 157,400 CAD 179,600.
- This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation.
