- Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to promote technology strategies
- Mentor and lead teams in the adoption of architectural best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Software Engineering and Systems Architecture or Technology Solution design
- At least 2 years of experience creating solutions architectures in a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Bachelor's, Master’s or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field preferred
- Certification in TOGAF, AWS, or other relevant architectural frameworks preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect in large/complex organizations preferred
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering preferred
- 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, and/or delivering scalable and decoupled systems in a heavily regulated technology environment preferred
- 3+ years of experience working with internal and external business clients preferred
- 2+ years of experience with AWS concepts and implementations preferred
- Experience engaging, influencing and driving initiatives by partnering with technology executives preferred
- Experience mentoring software engineers or architects preferred
- Experience in a regulated environment (HIPAA, PCI, Privacy, etc.) preferred

About the Role
- As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will orchestrate the creation of technology solutions that align with business goals.
- You will design scalable and secure solution architectures, evaluate new technologies, and oversee development of high level designs.

Compensation
- The expected annual salary range for this position is CAD 184,000 CAD 210,000.
- This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es).
