Role Overview
Direct, supervise, and manage warehouse operations and logistics activities across storage locations.
Ensure the safety of personnel, infrastructure, and storage facilities while supporting operational material requirements.
Operational Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, develop, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
- Plan and coordinate warehouse and logistics activities.
- Manage Abu Dhabi Airports fleet operations.
- Coordinate with procurement and operational departments to support material availability.
- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance, and distribution of materials.
- Optimize warehouse space for long-term storage requirements.
- Manage scrap handling, disposal, and scrap tender sales.
- Monitor outsourced service providers and oversee vehicle, equipment, and machinery maintenance.
Inventory and Performance
- Oversee inventory documentation, ERP transactions, and audit records.
- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory to support optimization.
- Manage budgets and maintain statistical and financial records.
- Measure staff KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify training needs, arrange development programs, conduct team meetings, and provide feedback.
