Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 support of critical airport systems (AODB, BHS, operations platforms)
- Take full ownership of incidents
- Ensure stability, availability, and recovery of systems impacting live airport operations
- Personally lead major incidents end to end
- Handle high pressure operational disruptions independently
- Drive root cause resolution and prevent recurrence
- Manage a team of engineers and support staff
- Lead internal IT collaboration
- Build a high performance support culture in a 24/7 environment
- Drive live system support + ongoing upgrades (e.g., AMS upgrade)
- Support continuous system improvements and enhancements
- Ensure smooth handover from project to BAU
Requirements
- 8+ years in airport IT systems (AODB / BHS essential)
- Proven leadership of team members in a 24/7 environment
- Strong incident & problem management ownership (hands on)
- Experience working within internal IT teams (not purely vendor side)
- Experience in large scale airport operations environments
- Exposure to cyber / IT operational processes
- Ability to manage high operational complexity and scale
- Thrives in fast paced, high pressure, 24/7 operations
- Comfortable handling constant workload and multiple priorities
