Financial Operations Leadership
- Plan, oversee, and direct financial and accounting operations and related activities.
- Define strategic objectives and operational work plans for the team.
- Oversee policies, methodologies, and systems for financial and accounting operations.
Controls and Accounting Oversight
- Oversee audits and reviews of salaries, expenses, budgets, insurance, payments, cheques, and financial transfers.
- Oversee final account preparation, financial-period closing, and annual inventory procedures for departmental assets.
Analysis and Resource Management
- Prepare studies on financial resource development and the effective use of approved budgets.
- Prepare periodic financial analyses, statements, reports, and data.
- Record financial-regulation overruns or violations and report findings to the direct supervisor.
- Assess financial risks related to financial reports and data and develop improvements.
