Role Overview
eBay is seeking a Manager of Payments Data Science and Analytics for its Financial Services work.
The role supports payments cost savings and revenue growth across product and business domains.
What You Will Accomplish
- Guide and support a group of high-performing analysts.
- Set analytics strategy and manage analytics roadmaps for the Financial Services domain.
- Define, build, and track measurements for product performance and product health monitoring.
- Build A/B tests, causal inference analyses, and predictive analytics to identify and quantify opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and self-service data visualization tools.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to solve business challenges and develop analytics solutions.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative field is required.
- At least 8 years of professional experience using data for business decisions is required, or 6 years with a master's degree or equivalent experience.
- A master's degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Experience driving significant business impact through data science, preferably in a product organization, is preferred.
