Position Summary
The Manager, Data Analytics supports data-driven strategies to optimize business performance through pricing, promotional strategies, market analysis, web analytics, and reporting.
The role owns GCP and BigQuery infrastructure and is accountable for reporting and consumption datasets across the organization.
Platform and Analytics Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and govern the data platform so stakeholders have high-quality, reliable, and performant data assets.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across downstream reporting.
- Define data standards and best practices for data modeling and pipeline development.
- Identify reporting infrastructure gaps, introduce automation, and drive continuous improvement in analytics delivery.
- Train and support departments in self-service reporting and maintain vendor relationships for analytics tools.
- Collaborate across business units to align and integrate analytics initiatives.
- Present data and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- GCP and BigQuery architecture expertise.
- Experience with dimensional data modeling and consumption-layer design.
- Experience developing ETL and ELT pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL and query performance optimization.
- Experience with BigQuery cost optimization and resource management.
- Knowledge of cloud-native data-engineering best practices.

Compensation
- The pay range for the position is CAD 91,900 to CAD 126,390.
- Pay is determined based on relevant experience.
