Position Summary
The Asset Protection Associate helps maintain a safe, secure, and professional store environment.
The role prevents financial and physical loss, reduces shrink, and supports store profitability.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct daily store patrols and verify doors, showcases, and security features.
- Investigate internal theft, external theft, organized retail crime, shrink, and assigned ethics cases.
- Support evacuations and emergency procedures.
- Carry out external apprehensions in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Communicate findings clearly to Store Leadership and other stakeholders.
- Complete additional Asset Protection duties as business needs require.
Schedule and Physical Demands
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and other varied shifts is required.
- The role may include overnight hours and a fast-paced, high-volume workload.
- Duties include extended standing, bending, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 20 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Security Guard License is required.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Compensation
- The minimum rate of pay starts at $20.00 per hour.
Primary Location
- The position is based at the Delta, British Columbia store location.
