Lead cargo compliance, quality, and standards across a growing global network.
Strengthen regulatory alignment and operational excellence across cargo operations.
Oversee compliance with IATA, ICAO, GACA, customs, security, and Dangerous Goods requirements.
Core responsibilities
- Update internal cargo policies, procedures, manuals, and operational standards.
- Govern the cargo-specific Quality Management System and lead audits, reviews, and corrective action programs.
- Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Standardize cargo operations to support safe, consistent, and efficient handling.
- Monitor performance indicators and use data insights to identify trends and improve service delivery.
- Oversee ground handling agents and vendors through audit and performance frameworks.
- Act as a key contact for authorities and industry bodies.
- Ensure training and competency programs remain current and aligned with operational requirements.
About you
- A university qualification is required.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in air cargo operations, compliance, auditing, or quality assurance is required.
- Dangerous Goods Regulations certification is expected.
- Expertise in cargo regulatory frameworks, Quality Management Systems, audit and corrective action programs, KPI-driven performance management, and vendor oversight is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
