About The Role

Provide technical leadership to enhance asset reliability, optimize lifecycle value, and strengthen performance management across AD Ports Group’s global asset portfolios. The role ensures alignment with ISO 55001, IAM guidelines, SMRP best practices, and organizational asset management objectives. With advanced analytical capability and deep proficiency in Maximo Application Suite and Oracle Fusion, the Expert drives data driven decision making, improves asset performance, and supports the development of a robust, integrated asset management system that maximizes operational effectiveness and long term value creation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Group wide asset performance management procedures to monitor asset health and performance throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with ISO 55001 and IAM guideline
  • Regularly review and analyze financial and operational asset data using Oracle Fusion and IBM Maximo, providing periodic performance insights and recommendation
  • Prepare comprehensive asset performance and analytical reports for all AD Ports Group clusters and subsidiaries, ensuring consistent evaluation of asset condition, utilization, and lifecycle performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to asset reliability, asset management processes, and the asset management system’s effectiveness.
  • Implement and optimize Maximo Application Suite (MAS) APM functionalities to support asset lifecycle processes and enhance asset performance visibility.
  • Ensure high quality asset data, including hierarchies, workflows, failure codes, and reporting structures, to support accurate analysis and decision making.
  • Conduct advanced reliability analyses such as FMEA, RCA, Weibull analysis, and criticality assessments to identify failure modes, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Track and improve key reliability metrics including MTBF, MTTR, asset availability, and utilization etc. as applicable across the Group’s asset portfolio.
  • Identify underperforming assets and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability and reduce lifecycle risk.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 55001, SMRP best practices, and other relevant asset management standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, gathering evidence, and ensuring readiness of asset performance records.
  • Conduct periodic audits of asset portfolios to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
  • Report changes to asset management information that impact financial, audit, regulatory, or insurance functions, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Regularly review asset status, location, and data accuracy, reporting findings to the Director – Asset Financial Alignment.
  • Ensure monthly asset and inventory performance reports are prepared, validated, and aligned with asset management and financial requirements.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of asset management processes, governance frameworks, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop presentations, dashboards, and communication materials to support Group Asset Management initiatives and reporting requirements.
  • Promote best practices in reliability, performance management, and lifecycle optimization across all clusters and subsidiaries.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Asset Reliability & Performance Management team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Identify training and development needs and support continuous learning initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and technical support for complex reliability and performance issues.
  • Manage team workloads, priorities, and productivity to ensure timely delivery of objectives

Ills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • CMRP Certification
  • IAM Certificate
  • Proficient in English: Reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Strong analytical capability; proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools.
  • Minimum of 10-12 Years of Experience in same or similar role
  • Field experience in asset-intensive sectors such as ports, logistics, utilities, manufacturing, oil and gas, or transportation – min 5 years
  • Coordination/management experience – min 3 years
  • Experience in asset management, asset performance management, reliability engineering, or maintenance planning.
