Role overview

The Manager, Analytics and Data Enablement leads a team delivering trusted, analytics-ready data assets and self-service data capabilities.

The role supports Allstate Canada’s data-modernization journey by overseeing the transition of enterprise analytics platforms and assets to Microsoft Fabric.

The Manager is accountable for governed, scalable, accessible data and a high-performing team focused on innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Work arrangement

  • The role designation is hybrid.

Leadership and transformation

  • Lead, coach, and develop analytics and data professionals and establish aligned priorities, objectives, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Lead migration and modernization of analytical data assets, processes, and reporting capabilities into Microsoft Fabric.
  • Oversee curated data layers, semantic models, enterprise architecture, and self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of modern analytics tools, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and cloud-native data practices.

Governance and enablement

  • Establish data standards, governance practices, documentation requirements, quality controls, lineage, metadata, and stewardship.
  • Define trusted business metrics, KPI standards, and critical data elements with stakeholders.
  • Deliver curated data products, semantic models, and governed access for reporting, analytics, and strategic decisions.
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, risks, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, or data engineering.
  • Proven people-leadership experience in a manager or senior-lead role.
  • Hands-on experience with data integration, reconciliation, and controls.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, semantic models, data warehousing, SQL, and modern analytics architectures.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, metadata, and stewardship.
  • Strong project-management, prioritization, stakeholder-management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Insurance, digital-transformation, or large enterprise data-program experience is an asset.
  • Strong English communication skills are required when working with clients, advisors, or employees across Canada.

Compensation

  • Expected compensation ranges from CAD 115,500 to CAD 145,000 annually, with the offer varying according to skills and experience.
