Role Overview
Management Accountant role supporting UAE and Bahrain subsidiaries of a global operations and logistics consultancy.
Hands-on, multi-entity position covering the full accounting cycle, management accounts, close activities, tax, reporting, and financial controls.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 10,500 per month, plus medical coverage and two annual air tickets for the employee.
Responsibilities
- Manage AP, AR, and general ledger activities across multiple group entities.
- Create and allocate invoices and credit notes, post customer receipts, perform bank reconciliations, process transfers, and manage suspense accounts.
- Lead month-end activities involving accruals, prepayments, income recognition, depreciation, fixed assets, petty cash, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reporting, and maintain financial analytics and cost-centre reporting.
- Support VAT/GST returns, annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, audit coordination, expense claims, and salary payments.
- Maintain accurate ledger records and ensure financial controls are followed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant management accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and tax and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
