- Partner with marketing and proposition teams to enhance campaign effectiveness and product visibility
- Provide sales training facilitation, collateral development, and targeted product support to frontline teams
- Design, refine, and manage processes for operational efficiency and client experience
- Collaborate with risk teams to embed risk procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Monitor regulatory developments and market trends to keep the business informed
Requirements
- Comprehensive experience in product management within financial services, specifically in managed investments, mutual funds, discretionary portfolio management, or alternative investments
- In depth understanding of regulatory environments applicable to investment products and wealth management services across multiple jurisdictions
- Robust investment knowledge encompassing equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, and structured products
- Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Evidence of successful product launch and lifecycle management
- Undergraduate degree; MBA or Master's in Finance preferred
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent highly desirable

Job Summary
- The Associate Director, Managed Investments plays a pivotal role in the development and delivery of a comprehensive Managed Investments platform within our Wealth Solutions proposition.
- This position ensures a curated suite of high quality, compliant investment products is readily available to meet diverse client needs while equipping frontline wealth management teams to make informed portfolio allocation decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Shape and advance the MI business into a leading offering by evolving product range across asset classes and geographies; act as liaison between group and country teams; drive execution of product strategies to impact AUM and revenue performance.
- Business Impact: Lead initiatives to attract net new money through introduction and refinement of managed investment products; partner with marketing and proposition teams; provide sales training facilitation, collateral development, and targeted product support.
- Process Improvement and Operational Excellence: Design, refine, and manage processes for operational efficiency and client experience; collaborate with risk control and policy owners to implement control standards.
- Risk Management and Compliance Oversight: Partner with risk teams to embed risk procedures; develop and enforce guidelines for compliance; coordinate remediation activities for audit findings.
- Governance and Regulatory Engagement: Support governance frameworks; monitor regulatory developments; provide policy guidance and product support to Wealth Management teams.
Skills and Experience
- Comprehensive experience in product management within financial services, specifically in managed investments, mutual funds, discretionary portfolio management, or alternative investments.
- In depth understanding of regulatory environments applicable to investment products and wealth management services across multiple jurisdictions.
- Robust investment knowledge encompassing equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, and structured products.
- Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills enabling effective engagement with diverse teams.
- Evidence of successful product launch and lifecycle management.
- Technologically savvy with experience leveraging digital tools and platforms.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with preference for an MBA or a Master’s in Finance degree holder, Portfolio Management, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience managing investment products within a financial institution, demonstrating accountability for revenue generation, product strategy, and investment risk management.
- Extensive knowledge of investment principles, including equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, derivatives, and currency instruments.
- Proven ability to develop and operationalise product strategies that align with corporate goals and market demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking paired with adaptability and a proactive approach to market changes.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities independently, meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
