Responsibilities
- Act as a Permit Performing Authority to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Permit to Work process and company requirements
- Provide the Mechanical Supervisor with analysis and comment on maintenance opportunities and risks
- Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure maintenance targets are met
- Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment
- Promote cost consciousness to embed a strong cost culture
- Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture
- Actively participate in and promote company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines for Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plant Integrity
- Carry out repairs to mechanical equipment and perform preventive maintenance
- Contribute to identifying improvements in planned maintenance routines
- Prepare, isolate and make safe Mechanical equipment for maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Valid H2S & T BOSIET trainings
- Fit to work
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Profile
