Role Overview
The Maintenance Technician supports the maintenance and safe operation of elevator systems.
Practical experience working with elevators is required, with preference for rack and pinion elevator experience.
Key Requirements
- Hands-on experience in elevator maintenance is required.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical elevator systems is required.
- A technical diploma in a mechanical or electrical discipline is required.
- Previous rack and pinion elevator experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance activities on elevator systems.
- Inspect elevator mechanical and electrical components during maintenance activities.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting elevator operation.
- Support rack and pinion elevator maintenance where applicable.
- Follow applicable technical and safety procedures during maintenance activities.
- Support reliable and safe elevator system operation.
