About the Role
Xad Technologies is hiring a Maintenance Manager for its Auto Division in Sharjah to oversee vehicle inspection, diagnosis, repair planning, preventive maintenance, and workshop operations.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop activities including inspections, diagnostics, repairs, servicing, testing, preventive maintenance, and final quality checks
- Review diagnosis, repair recommendations, required parts, labour estimates, and technical solutions before work execution
- Allocate jobs to Maintenance Supervisors and technicians based on skill level, job urgency, workload, tools, and delivery commitments
- Ensure completed jobs are inspected before release, repeat complaints are reduced, and repairs are completed as per required technical standards
- Monitor technician productivity, attendance, job completion, idle time, discipline, and overall workshop efficiency
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for company vehicles, customer vehicles, fleet customers, and service contract customers
- Validate spare parts requirements, control parts consumption, prevent wastage, and coordinate with procurement/stores for timely availability
- Ensure workshop tools, equipment, diagnostic devices, lifts, safety equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and available
- Ensure workshop activities comply with safety standards, PPE requirements, housekeeping expectations, and company HSE procedures
- Report workshop performance, major technical issues, delays, rework, parts shortages, manpower gaps, and quality concerns to the Manager – Auto Division
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in automotive maintenance, workshop operations, fleet maintenance, mechanical repairs, or technical service management
- Minimum 3 years in a workshop management, maintenance management, or technical supervisory role
- Strong experience in vehicle diagnosis, repair planning, preventive maintenance, quality control, and technician supervision
- UAE automotive workshop or fleet maintenance experience preferred
- Strong understanding of workshop workflow, tools, diagnostic systems, spare parts, repair methods, safety, and technical documentation
- Experience managing technicians, supervisors, helpers, subcontracted repair providers, and parts coordination
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automobile Technology, or related discipline preferred

Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automobile Technology, or related discipline preferred.
- Technical certification in automotive maintenance, diagnostics, or workshop management will be an advantage.
- Candidates with strong hands on workshop experience and proven technical leadership may also be considered.
