Position Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues in a hotel environment.
Perform general maintenance across guest areas, equipment, utilities, rooms, and building systems.
The position is non-management and involves physical work, guest interaction, and coordination with other shifts.
Maintenance Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, visual inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
- Maintain air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, electronic, carpentry, kitchen, vehicle, and general building systems.
- Perform painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, light bulb and air-conditioning filter replacement, and repair-area cleanup.
- Repair plumbing, electrical components, lamps, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, switches, outlets, and guestroom items.
- Identify and operate equipment and building utility shut-off valves.
- Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, program televisions, and update air-handler schedules and temperatures.
- Repair interior and exterior landscaping and external landscaping sprinklers.
- Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts and complete engineering-related inventory duties.
