Position Summary

Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues in a hotel environment.
Perform maintenance across air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical-room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Inspect equipment and operate building and equipment utility shut-off valves.
- Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and communicate shift activities and problems.
- Perform painting, surface preparation, minor drywall and wood-trim repairs, light-bulb and air-conditioning filter replacement, and work-area cleanup.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical components, guestroom items, internet devices, switches, and outlets.
- Program televisions, complete engineering-related inventory duties, and repair landscaping and sprinkler systems.
- Use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance work and follow safety, security, and hazardous-material procedures.
- Provide guest service, communicate professionally, support team goals, and protect confidential information and company assets.
