Machine Operator

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Operate UV, solvent, eco-solvent, and latex digital printers.
• Operate CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters, laminators, and finishing equipment.
• Prepare substrates, inks, materials, test prints, and print-ready files.
• Perform cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing, and assembly work.
• Prepare and modify artwork with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Operate RIP software and manage production queues.
• Perform colour calibration, profiling, and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot minor machine, mechanical, and software issues.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain machinery.
• Coordinate with designers, production teams, and project managers.
• Maintain production records and monitor material and consumable usage.
• Support urgent projects, exhibitions, installations, and high-demand production periods.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Print Operator, CNC Operator, Fabrication Technician, or similar.
• Strong practical knowledge of digital printing and fabrication machinery.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required; basic InDesign knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with RIP software and print production workflows is required.
• Knowledge of colour management and print quality control is required.
• Ability to read artworks, layouts, technical drawings, and job instructions.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills are required.
• Experience in signage, advertising, events, exhibitions, or fabrication is advantageous.
• The candidate must handle production materials and work extended hours when required.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and time-management skills are required.

Availability and Conditions

• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• The role requires physical handling of production materials and may involve extended hours during demanding periods.
• The operator must follow HSE and production quality requirements.
