Loss Prevention & Operations Analyst

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct remote customer reviews, audits, and investigations using the Solink platform, video, and data.
• Assess customer business health and identify loss prevention, risk, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency opportunities.
• Identify outliers and anomalies based on customer needs.
• Gather customer information from sales and customer success representatives.
• Collect, communicate, and document relevant findings for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Support corporate compliance and own customer problems through resolution.

Role Expectations

• Independently conduct customer reviews, audits, analysis, and investigations and identify meaningful opportunities.
• Translate findings into actionable insights that help customers understand their business and make informed decisions.
• Build trusted customer relationships and collaborate with Customer Success and internal stakeholders.
• Manage priorities and timelines, maintain organized documentation, apply feedback, and share learnings.
• Success includes thorough, timely reviews with clear documentation, proactive issue identification, and actionable recommendations.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Deep retail loss prevention or asset protection experience, including POS and inventory data.
• Understanding of retail or restaurant operations and experience in customer service, loss prevention, or a similar role.
• Ability to detect patterns in data and numbers.
• Excellent written, reading, and spoken English communication skills.
• Organized, documentation-focused, process-driven, and able to work within timelines.
• Understanding of SaaS technology and willingness to become an expert on the Solink product.
• Ability to own problems from identification through resolution and remain proactive and customer-sensitive.
• Candidates must undergo a criminal records check and comply with Solink security policies and standards.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• French or Spanish communication skills are an asset.
• Python data analysis using Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or SciKit-Learn is an asset.
• Experience with Google Sheets or Excel, including AppScript or macros, is an asset.
