Role Overview
Airbus is seeking a long-term, multi-semester Cabin Engineering Intern for its Design and Analysis Teams.
The intern will support design, analysis, certification, documentation, and engineering improvement work for commercial aircraft cabin components.
Working Environment
- The position is based at the Airbus Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama.
- This is a full-time onsite opportunity unless otherwise approved by management and human resources.
- The engineering center supports design and development of commercial aircraft cabins, aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations, and services.
Engineering Projects
- Participate in engineering improvement and innovation projects involving automation, digitalization, API or web application development, and data analytics depending on capability.
- Generate engineering reports and templates, organize engineering data, and route documents for review.
- Generate weekly status reports for related engineering activities.
Coordination and Documentation
- Attend meetings, record minutes, and coordinate with internal or external customers as required.
