- Monitor vehicle movements between yards, dealerships, and customers
- Optimize transportation schedules to reduce delays and costs
- Coordinate with transport companies, drivers, and agents
- Track vehicle locations and status using logistics systems
- Supervise logistics coordinators, drivers, yard staff and support personnel
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
- Train employees on logistics procedures and safety requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards
- Liaise with sales, service, procurement, and warehouse departments
- Resolve transportation and delivery issues promptly
- Coordinate vehicle inspections before dispatch and upon receipt
Requirements
- Experience in logistics coordination and supervision
- Ability to plan and coordinate vehicle deliveries, transfers, and pickups
- Experience with logistics systems for tracking vehicle locations
- Strong supervisory and team management skills
- Ability to prepare logistics performance reports and KPIs
