About the Role
Gambles Ontario Produce is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support sales and operations in a produce wholesale environment. The role involves coordinating transportation, managing delivery routes, and performing warehouse duties.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation with carriers for outbound shipments and inbound warehouse pickups
- Negotiate freight rates, fees, and fuel surcharge updates
- Create, update, and manage delivery routes, including coordination of same day and off day deliveries
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery timelines and product shortages
- Coordinate and confirm customer delivery windows
- Carrier claims
- Generate shipping labels, invoices, and related documents using the ERP system
- Process system receiving by accurately entering shipment details upon arrival
- Prepare purchase orders, invoices and driver manifests as required
- Perform operational administrative tasks, including customer order entry, transfer coordination and verification, and POD (proof of delivery) requests
- Respond to inbound calls from carriers and customers regarding dispatch and order updates
- Receive inbound shipments, verifying quality, quantity, and accuracy of goods
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to lift to 40lbs and work in a warehouse environment as required
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks
- Strong organization and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in previous work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast paced environments
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Job Information
- Position Status: New Position.
- Intended Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, 12 pm – 8 pm.
