The Logistics Coordinator plans, coordinates, and monitors transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
The role supports efficient business operations through timely deliveries, accurate inventory records, supplier and carrier communication, and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Schedule and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and customers.
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs documentation when required.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Resolve shipping delays, damaged goods, and transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Negotiate shipping rates and coordinate with freight providers.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- One to three years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is required.
