ALS is excited to hire for a Logistics Coordinator for our St. John's operation. This role will consist of Coordinating the flow of work in St. John's including delivering bottle orders to clients in the region and processing received samples into the ALS network. The successful candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting strict deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and quality. Specific Responsibilities
· Deliver bottle orders and sample preservatives from courier locations to client offices;
· Pick up, package and ship samples using appropriate couriers and procedures and following sample receipt protocols;
· Organize, prioritize, and track orders;
· Review and double check bottle orders prepared by others for errors;
· Process return shipments for laboratory supplies;
· Take weekly stock counts;
· Trace lost/late shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments;
· Provide excellent customer service to clients and couriers;
· Label verification;
· Provide general assistance to support regional operations as required;
· Follow internal Standard Operating Procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality procedures are adhered to;
· Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;
· Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or Client Service Manager.
