Metals & Wet Chemistry Supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience

• Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of analytical laboratory experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Leadership experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, food, environmental or contract testing laboratory.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, quality systems, data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing OOS, OOT, deviations, non-conformances, root cause investigations and CAPA.
• Experience with capacity planning, resource allocation, workload balancing and operational KPIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, organisational and time management skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Laboratory Setting

• The position is based in the ALS analytical laboratory in Rydalmere, Sydney, with laboratory operations and instrumentation responsibilities.
