Position Overview
Logistics and Warehouse Assistant role supporting shipping, customs clearance, warehouse operations, shipment documentation, inventory records, and customer deliveries.
The role coordinates with freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping companies, transport companies, customers, and internal teams.
Reports to the Logistics or Operations Manager; one position is available.
Employment and Location
- Employment type is full-time.
- Work location is in person in the UAE.
Shipping and Logistics
- Coordinate and follow up on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Monitor shipment status from dispatch through customs clearance and final delivery.
- Track ETA, arrival, customs clearance, delivery, and container return.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules with customers and transport providers.
- Escalate shipment delays, documentation issues, and clearance problems to management.
- Maintain records of shipments and logistics activities.
