About the Role

  • Collaborate closely with the Front Office and Guest Services teams to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience for all guests.
  • Greet and welcome guests warmly, always with a sincere smile and engaging presence.
  • Escort guests to the lobby, outlets, or other areas of the property, and when needed, provide a thorough room orientation in line with Forbes and LQA standards.
  • Offer guests the One Welcome experience upon arrival, including serving refreshing amenities such as juice, water, or chilled towels while they wait in the lobby.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, car parking, and transportation arrangements as needed.
  • Proactively support guests throughout their stay by responding to their needs and anticipating any special requests.
  • Create moments of Joy by delivering personalized experiences, recognizing guest preferences, and supporting the Host team with in room setup and special touches.
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of all hotel outlets, operating hours, menus, facilities, and available activities (both on and off property) to confidently act as a trusted brand ambassador.
  • Be fully informed about the property, local area, culture, arts, nature, and current events to provide genuine and insightful recommendations to guests.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a professional, friendly, and caring manner, taking action or directing them to the appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Keep guests informed about any on property events or temporary changes (e.g., closed areas, fireworks) that may impact their stay.
  • Share VIP arrivals and notable guest movements in the team WhatsApp group to ensure all departments are aware and fully prepared.

About You

  • Education: High School completed; University Degree is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in guest relations or a similar role in a luxury hotel
  • Detailed oriented with a strong eye for details
  • Guest drive, team player, flawless communicator, passionate, well organized, details oriented and flexible.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
