- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, crockery, cutlery and glassware
- Actively use up selling techniques to exceed guests’ expectations and increase revenue

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Prior experience in high volume restaurants preferable
- Outgoing and confident personality
- Flexible and able to work flexible hours
- Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities
- Provides a link between kitchen and service areas.
- Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
- Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
- Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining.
- Set Cutlery, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
- Updates food and beverages knowledge required to carry out duties.
- Provides advice on food and beverages to guests.
- Receives and stores food and beverages adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Consistently monitors quality of food and beverage being served and report to the supervisor or assistant outlet manager.
- Actively uses up selling techniques to exceed guests’ expectations and increase revenue.
- Actively take part in restaurant set up, clearance (Bussing).
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience in high volume restaurants preferable.
- Outgoing and confident who is flexible and a great team player.
- Dynamic, energetic, creative individual with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Multi tasking capability without compromising on quality.
- Punctual and able to work flexible hours.
- Confident to deal with peers and senior colleagues.
- Excellent Communication skills.
