Live In Caregiver (Dementia Care Experience Required)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Maintain continuous supervision to ensure safety and prevent disorientation or wandering
• Establish and follow a structured daily routine
• Manage behavioral symptoms such as confusion, agitation, or resistance in a calm and professional manner
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor condition
• Assist with mobility and fall prevention
• Coordinate meal ordering from the household kitchen and assist with feeding if required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient’s room and personal space
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Accompany to medical appointments if required
• Scope of Role:
• No cooking required
• No general household responsibilities beyond the patient’s personal care and room
• Full focus is on caregiving and supervision

Mandatory Requirements

• Ability to communicate fluently in Arabic, as required for patient care
• Proven experience caring for patients with dementia, specifically Alzheimer’s disease at mid stage
• Demonstrated ability to manage cognitive and behavioral challenges independently

Education And Certifications (Essential)

• Formal qualification in caregiving, nursing, or healthcare assistance
• Recognized training or certification in dementia care
• Basic life support or first aid certification preferred
• Strong understanding of patient safety, hygiene, and medication handling

• Physically capable of assisting with mobility and personal care

Working Conditions

• Live in position with accommodation provided
• One day off per week (to be agreed)
