Responsibilities
- Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
- Perform OS patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability
- Implement system hardening using CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIG standards
- Manage SELinux policies and kernel level security configurations
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and security reviews
- Automate patching and configuration management using Ansible and Red Hat Satellite
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot Linux related issues
- Develop shell scripts and automation workflows
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Linux administration
- RHCE certification
- RHCSA certification
- LFCS certification
- Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with Linux security hardening (CIS, DISA STIG)
- Experience with Ansible and Red Hat Satellite
- Shell scripting skills
- Experience supporting high availability production environments
