Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Build secure RESTful APIs and middleware services following Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Develop scalable, event driven solutions integrating Kafka and cloud native services
- Ensure high quality, secure, and maintainable code through code reviews and automated testing
- Build and deploy cloud native applications on AWS
- Integrate IAM, Lambda, EKS, SNS, SQS, KMS, Secrets Manager, and ElastiCache services
- Manage GitHub repositories, GitHub Actions, and advanced GitHub Security
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments
- Develop comprehensive JUnit test cases to maximize code coverage
- Resolve security findings from penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding best practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 5 10 years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Security
- Proficiency in JUnit for testing
- Experience with Hibernate
- Experience with NoSQL Databases
- Experience building REST APIs
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile practices
