About the Role
TAT IT Technologies seeks an experienced Linux Administrator for a banking client in Abu Dhabi. You will manage and secure enterprise Linux environments, perform OS-level security patching per CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIG, and automate tasks using Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.

Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux based servers across production and non production environments
- Perform OS level security patching in accordance with CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIG standards
- Implement kernel hardening and SELinux policy configuration/enforcement to strengthen system security
- Manage and automate patch deployment using tools such as Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, or equivalent platforms
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, performance, and security related issues
- Maintain system documentation, patching schedules, and compliance reports
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business requirements
- Conduct system audits and remediation activities to ensure compliance with organizational security standards
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine administration and operational tasks
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Linux system administration
- Strong hands on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or similar distributions
- Experience implementing and maintaining CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIG compliance standards
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel hardening, system security, and SELinux administration
- Hands on experience with Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, or other patch orchestration and configuration management tools
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages)
- Experience with system monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, storage systems, and Linux security best practices

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure enterprise Linux environments.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for OS level security patching, system hardening, configuration management, and automation of routine administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Strong hands on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or similar distributions.
