Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all lifting operations on site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards
- Ensure lifting operations are conducted in full compliance with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments
- Monitor the condition and maintenance of lifting equipment, ensuring all machinery is fit for use
- Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel
- Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans
- Coordinate lifting operations with other construction activities to minimize disruptions
- Document any lifting incidents or near misses, conducting investigations as necessary
- Ensure all required lifting documentation is completed and maintained
- Provide regular reports to the project manager on the status of lifting operations
Requirements
- Recognized certification in lifting operations (e.g., Lifting Supervisor Course, Crane Operations Safety Course, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lifting supervision in the construction industry
- Extensive experience with cranes, hoisting equipment, rigging, and lifting techniques
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and UAE safety regulations related to lifting operations
- In depth knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and lifting procedures
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment processes, and compliance

Overview
- Exciting opportunity for an experienced Lifting Supervisor with a proven track record in the industry for a high profile client.
Key Objectives
- Responsible for overseeing and managing all lifting operations on site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards and project requirements.
- Oversee lifting operations on site, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, local laws, and international standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure lifting operations are conducted in full compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures.
- Equipment Management: Monitor the condition and maintenance of lifting equipment.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel.
- Lift Plans and Procedures: Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans.
- On Site Coordination: Coordinate lifting operations with other construction activities.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation: Document any lifting incidents or near misses.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all required lifting documentation is completed and maintained.
