- Conduct inspections of lifting equipment

- Ensure inspection and verification adhere to Quality Standards and Federal Legal requirements
- Maintain honesty, integrity, punctuality, accuracy, and courteousness
- Manage time effectively and communicate properly
- Provide dedicated service and timely issue of reports
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Engineering Mechanical
- LEEA Certification, Diploma in Lifting Equipment Inspection and certification
- In house training in Inspection of Equipment in Hazardous Areas (Zone II), NDE, H2S, Breathing Apparatus, Fire fighting Training, Basic First Aid, Offshore/Sea Survival
- Min 5 years in inspection and certification (Lifting Surveyor) or Min 10 years (Senior Lifting Surveyor)
- Fundamentals of Lifts, Elevators, Escalators, Lifting and Handling Equipment

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Engineering Mechanical
- Training/Specialty: LEEA Certification, Diploma in Lifting Equipment Inspection and certification, In house training in Inspection of Equipment in Hazardous Areas (Zone II), NDE, H2S, Breathing Apparatus, Fire fighting Training, Basic First Aid, Offshore/Sea Survival
- Technical knowledge: Fundamentals of Lifts, Elevators, Escalators, Lifting and Handling Equipment
- Experience: Min 5 years in inspection and certification (Lifting Surveyor); Min. 10 years in inspection and certification (Senior Lifting Surveyor)

- Primary Functions: Conduct Inspections, Prepare Reports
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of the working of machinery, Quality Standards
- Business Requirements: Inspection & Verification by adhering to Quality Standards and Federal Legal requirements
- Self Management: Honesty, Integrity, Punctuality, Accuracy and courteousness
- Customer Focus: Time management, Proper Communication, Dedicated Service, Timely issue of Reports
Performance Monitoring
- Continual Development: Updating of Quality Standards, Study of Federal Decrees pertaining to the scope of work
- KPIs: Technical Maturity, Time Management, Integrity, Presentation – On Site and Offsite
