Senior Liferay Developer

Dubai \| Contract - 12 months \| Immediate Joiners Preferred \| NO VISA SPONSORSHIP

We’ve partnered with a leading enterprise client in the UAE looking for a Senior Liferay Developer to support large-scale portal and digital transformation projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building and maintaining enterprise portal applications using Liferay DXP / Portal
Developing custom portlets, OSGi modules, services, hooks, and themes
Integrating enterprise systems, APIs, authentication platforms, and third-party applications
Supporting workflow, CMS, and portal customisation
Driving performance optimisation, debugging, and troubleshooting across environments
Supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release activities
Participating in architecture discussions and technical solution design
Mentoring junior developers and contributing to code reviews

Requirements

6+ years Liferay development experience
Strong hands-on experience with:

• Java And J2EE

Spring Boot
OSGi Modules

• Jenkins, CI And CD, Git

Experience across enterprise integrations, portal customisation, and performance optimisation
Agile/Scrum experience preferred
UAE-based candidates and immediate joiners highly preferred
