Role Overview

The position is full-time at Al Zorah Beach Resort in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
About the Resort
Al Zorah Beach Resort is a coastal luxury hospitality property undergoing transformation ahead of the planned Four Seasons Resort Ajman opening in 2028.
The resort is located among mangroves, beaches, and lagoons and is building a team focused on thoughtful care and attention to detail.
Guest Safety and Surveillance
- Supervise pool and beach areas continuously using professional lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
- Respond calmly to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns according to resort safety protocols.
- Maintain life rings, rescue poles, first-aid kits, and other safety equipment.
- Administer first aid or CPR when required and enforce safety rules courteously.
Guest Interaction and Service
- Greet guests and provide courteous assistance throughout their pool or beach experience.
- Distribute towels, amenities, and refreshments as needed.
- Provide professional guidance on pool, beach, and water safety.
- Support the Pool and Beach team in maintaining an inviting luxury environment.
Pool and Facility Maintenance
- Conduct and document water quality checks, including temperature, chlorine, and pH levels.
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including vacuuming, brushing, and surface cleaning.
- Keep pool decks, loungers, umbrellas, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping to report or resolve maintenance issues.
Administration and Compliance
- Maintain daily logs for pool maintenance, water testing, and safety inspections.
- Follow SOPs for pool operations, emergency response, and safety compliance.
- Keep CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications valid and up to date.
- Support safety drills and continuous training programs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of lifeguarding experience in a 5-star luxury hotel, resort, or private club.
- Valid Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
- Strong swimming ability and demonstrated water rescue proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, calm demeanor, physical fitness, attentiveness, and responsibility.
- Proficient in English; Arabic or Russian is advantageous.
- Professional grooming, composure under pressure, and commitment to guest safety.
- Flexibility to work outdoors, including weekends and public holidays.
